Val di Fiemme

The valley consists of 11 municipalities: Predazzo, Cavalese, Tesero, Capriana, Valfloriana, Carano, Daiano Varena, Castello - Molina di Fiemme, Panchià and Ziano.
The deep connection between people and the region and the deep-rooted tendency toward self-government go back to the "Magnifica Comunità of Fiemme". This ancient association, in Lombard style, still cares about the immense natural heritage of the surrounding forests and keeps alive the historical, social and cultural identity of Val di Fiemme.

In winter, this paradise for skiers and snowboarders offers around 110 km of slopes in 5 resorts: Ski Center Latemar, Bellamonte - Alpe Lusia, Alpe Cermis, Lavazè-Oclini, Passo Rolle. Each of these resorts is equipped for ski racing and offers training tracks providing all necessary equipment for all levels. In Pampeago and the Cermis area, there are tracks offering time measurement and fixed automated video recordings. Snowboard fans however entertain themselves very well on the Latemar and Alpe Lusia in the snow park, halfpipe and boardercross.

The areas Lavazè - Oclini and lago Tesero (illuminated by night) offer 150 km of cross country ski trails, that are available from December to April due to the high altitude, 1600-2150 m. Highlight is the famous cross-country-marathon-route "Marcialonga" that leads through the valley from Predazzo to Molina di Fiemme.

The area of the Fiemme valley offers not only skiing, but also beautiful Nordic walking paths, hiking trails in the snow, exciting ascents on snowshoes, without forgetting runs with the sled and the Alpine Coaster Gardonè, a two-man toboggans in an almost one kilometer long monorail, whose turns give you the right adrenaline kick. The track is open in summer and in winter.

The summer season in Val di Fiemme offers the possibility to undertake fascinating excursions into the surrounding Dolomites, walks in the two nature parks that invite you to surrender your mind completely by nature, horseback riding, and panoramic mountain biking. All this makes your holiday in the Fiemme valley unique and exciting.
