Bellamonte is a village in the municipality of Predazzo which rises up to 1373 meters above sea level along the valley of Travignolo in the Alta Val di Fiemme,
and is one of the most beautiful places of the valley, thanks to a sunny location in a green valley of meadows with characteristic mountain huts in dark trunks
and stones and one of the most beautiful views on the Pale di San Martino range. To the south the rugged and jagged mountain range of Lagorai delimits the horizon,
while to the east it is the dolomitic Pale di San Martino which dominates the landscape.
For the privileged position Bellamonte is an ideal destination for summer and winter: in summer is an oasis of calm and relaxation surrounded by greenery and starting point for hikes and walks in the Natural Park of Paneveggio and the surrounding peaks. Bellamonte is located inside the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Natural Park, full of paths and forest roads along which to enjoy walking and mountain biking.
In winter the nearby ski area of Bellamonte - Alpe Lusia makes the town a popular tourist center, by offering hotels and ski lifts that allow you to make descents on sunny slopes with guaranteed snow from a modern snowmaking system. With the presence of cross-country trails and easy trails for downhill skiing Bellamonte is particularly suitable for families and children.
